"For a small community, it is important to us that we bring our citizens and their young ones, various types of recreational activities along with a safe environment for the children to use their skating equipment. Your company was extremely helpful during the designing stages of the skate park…Thank you for all you have done to make our skate park materialize."

| Pad Requirements
Skate boarding, BMX biking and other skating activities require sufficient space, good drainage, fencing and solid surfacing. These guidelines and your SI representative can assist you with pad requirements for your unique needs.
Concrete Pad Typical Section (4000 PSI minimum)

Consult with your local engineer as needed. Use W.W.F. or Reinf. as required by local conditions.
Slope on concrete is important for drainage, but too much slope will cause skating difficulties; therefore we recommend a slope of .5% max.
Expansion joints -- fill with SikaFlex caulk or equal. Saw cut not to exceed 200 sq. ft., 1/8" wide x 1/8" deep min. Finish very smoothly with a steel trowel.
